New Sierra Club Video Features Musicians and Olympians Urging Americans to Vote
LOS ANGELES, CA – Sierra Club teamed up with two musicians and three Olympic gold medalists to make a new video encouraging Americans to head to the polls this election. Released today, the video features a song by musician G Love and testimonials on the importance of voting from musicians Jack Johnson, Olympic Gold Medalists Nathan Adrian, Ashton Eaton, and Natalie Coughlin.
“If you care about your kids future, get out and vote,” Adrian says in the video.
“If you care about preserving our national treasures, get out and vote,” echoes Coughlin.
Along with the video, the Sierra Club also launched a new website featuring resources that will help voters find their polling place and learn the details of what the need to vote.
"It’s critically important that every American makes their voice heard this election,” said Sierra Club Executive Director Michael Brune. “For anyone who cares about clean air and water, the climate crisis, our natural legacy, or the health of our families, voting this November 6 is an essential duty.”
