Flint River Cleanup

Have a fun day on the river and help take care of our river. Join the Flint River Conservation Association (FRCA), Saturday, June 8 for a fun day on the Upper Flint River. We will be paddling down the river and picking up trash as we go. There is always a competition to see who fishes out the most unusual trash. Will you be the one to come back with a rocking horse or a giant tractor tire? Bring your own canoe or use one of the canoes provided. Paddling experience is required or you can join the landlubbers who clean up at the bridge crossings.

After we haul in our trash, a yummy lunch will be provided. Come join us, have fun on the river and help make a difference.

Co-sponsors for the day are TVA and Brown Bear Canoe and Kayak Rentals. Canoes and lunch are sponsored by TVA, canoe shuttle and venue are courtesy of Brown Bear LLC. Call by 5:00pm June 6th to register - 256-539-3747.
