Thanks to everyone who worked so hard to make the Adventure Film Festival NYC 2015 such a success!  Especially the incredible team of AFF volunteers, led by Mike Mullaley and including Michelle Brick, Justin Zucker, Johan Martin (who both designed the website and was our evening's photographer!), Tania Farmiga, Penny Temple, Sue Weiss, Megan Brooke, Craig Meisner, and many more folks along the way and the evening of!  And of course we wouldn't even have the show without the amazing AFF team in Boulder led by Aimee Copp and our support team at Crowdrise.

A tremendous thanks to our incredible sponsors, including Green Mountain Energy, Patagonia Soho, The Bowery Hotel, Arc'Teryx, Brooklyn Boulders, City Parks Foundation, CLIF Bar, Destination Backcountry Adventures, Discover Outdoors, Honest Tea, King of the Mountain Events, Loomstate, Manhattan Portage, NY State Parks, Old Souls, Skinny Pop Popcorn, Trader Joe's, Mt Tops, Benmarl Winery, Mezetto and Neuman's Kitchen.  We were so fortunate to have such an incredible team of sponsors!

And then, there was the audience- our very first sold out crowd at Landmark's Sunshine Cinema!  The packed crowd along with the incredible donations from our local Sierra Club NYC Group, friends, family and colleagues helped us raise more than $16,000!  This will help pay for dozens of trips throughout the year- trips introducing the youth of NYC to the great outdoors.  Connecting people to nature, for the benefit of both!  

The night was full of many highlights- we had ICO teens from our Catrock/Sierra Club Youth Leadership Academy in the crowd, and a former ICO youth-turned adult volunteer and motivational speaker Pedro Jerez emceeing the evening, an incredible VIP hour hosted by Mezetto, Benmarl Wine and Neuman's Kitchen, after concessions were provided all throughout the films by CLIF Bar, Skinny Pop Popcorn and Honest Tea.  The films, of course, were exciting, motivating, emotional, and inspirational, and every member of the audience had a different favorite film.
