Group begins wilderness adventure as they enter Cucamonga Wilderness on the Ice House Canyon Trail.

Sierra Club volunteers enjoy the Cucamonga Wilderness after admiring views of potential additions to it behind them in the distance.

Forests Campaign staffers John Monsen and Juana Torres prepare to discuss the new "San Gabriel Mountains Wilderness" Campaign with volunteers. Expanding the Cucamonga Wilderness is one of the objectives of this new campaign.

Juana Torres tells the group about the various ways they can help, such as, leading hikes into areas we want to protect, participating in forest restoration projects and by sharing information about the campaign with other community members.

Volunteers Laura Teifenbruck and Jui Ing Chien look at a map that includes the trail up to Timber Mountain.

Hike Leader Erik Counseller prepares to lead the group up Timber Mountain. The Cucamonga Wilderness additions are to the left of him. Erik has been very active with the "San Gabriel Mountains Campaign" by leading hikes, hosting coffee parties for volunteers interested in wilderness, and involving new young people in the effort.
