8:30 Welcome and Remarks by COA President Steven K. Katona

9:00 First Panel of Scientists--Broad Overview of Climate Change and Fisheries (Everett, Michael, Mountain, Clapp,Burkholder)

10:15 Break

10:30 Second Panel of Scientists--A Closer look at the Gulf of Maine (Zielinski, Dionne, Milewski, Townsend)

12:00 Lunch

1:00 PM Breakout Sessions. Discussion groups on:
- conflicting demands for coastal uses;
- marine and coastal habitat for fish and shellfish;
- coastal pollution;
- fisheries management(inshore/offshore)
Each group will be asked to make three recommendations for public policy that would assist fishermen and coastal communities in preparing for climate change.
