If
you live in Charlotte or the Greater Mecklenburg area, then you may
hear more from Sierra Club volunteers this year.
North Carolina has launched a new program to inform and involve our members in activities to take care of the Earth and shed light on the harmful environmental policies of the Bush administration. Called "Building Environmental Community: Neighbors Together," the program features a variety of activities to make it easy to get involved in the Club. Our focus this year is on air quality in Charlotte. It's the worst in the Southeast! We're offering clean cars and clean tailpipes as a visionary alternative to dirty air. Join the hybrid evolution! We'd love your help!
