Join Us for Our Earth Day Celebration

Get Involved by Voicing Your Opinion on Wild Places

Minnesota’s last wild places are threatened with logging this year You can help protect them at our large Spring outreach event!
Saturday, May 7th, 10:00am – 2:00pm
Hiawatha Lake Recreation Center
28th Avenue S. and E. 44th St. in Minneapolis

Please join us as we walk neighborhoods and ask our neighbors and government to protect the last roadless areas in the North Woods. We'll follow this with a picnic with national Sierra Club speakers back at beautiful Hiawatha Park to celebrate our efforts. For more information, or to RSVP, please contact Josh Davis at (612) 659 – 9124 or email joshua.davis@sierraclub.org.

We're in the midst of a comment period on a comment period on roadless areas in our state! If citizens don’t participate in commenting during this time, only the timber companies will. Through large outreach, we’ll speak loud and clear that Minnesotans value preserving our natural heritage for future generations.
