Global warming is a local and immediate threat for NYC. Left unchallenged, global warming could potentially harm our area with rising sea levels, storm surge, heat waves and drought.

A Time to Act: Scientists across the globe have reached a consensus that global warming is real and human activity is playing a large role. The next 10 years may be critical in determining whether or not we will stem the tide of global warming and avert a catastrophe. The good news is that we have the technology today to implement real energy solutions to curb global warming. Through energy efficiency and renewable energy we can reduce greenhouse gases, lower energy bills, save money and protect our environment.

What You Can Do: It will take action by all of us to curb global warming. Take our online pledge and commit to three simple steps that will help curb global warming and save you money.
