Student: Luis Canela, grade 5, School PS1K - Brooklyn. ECOFEST 2007: A SUCCESS! Thank you Sierra Club volunteers for making our table at Ecofest a big success! It was on Sunday, Sept. 30 at the Lincoln Center, and over 20 volunteers gave out 300 energy efficient lightbulbs and collected over 300 Cool Neighborhood energy pledges. Great outreach! Ecofest featured exhibits and eco-booths including environmental groups, information, alternative medicine and fitness, animal care, products, healthy food and solar and renewable energy technologies, plus music, dance and entertainment.
