Interminable

The 2005 hurricane season set so many records, it hardly seems worth mentioning this last one (at least let's hope it's the last one). Nevertheless, here it is: Epsilon has become the longest-lived December hurricane in the history books, with sustained winds of 75-85 mph for more than 48 hours.
