With the COP 11 climate conference underway in Montreal, Generation Kyoto wants you to know that a cherished Canadian value is at risk: Hockey. No, not the indoor, Zamboni-and-freon-dependent sport of the NHL, but the honest-to-god, old-school variety played on frozen ponds on crisp winter days. As someone with happy memories of slapping pucks across the town pond, it's a cause I can get behind. Save hockey, eh! Body check greenhouse gas emissions!
