Out with the Old...

Although it looks like 2005 will end on a high point (that nail-biting last-minute save of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, of course), this wasn't a great year for the environment. It was certainly eventful, though. From attacks on the Endangered Species Act to Hurricane Katrina to that $3-a-gallon wake-up call, a lot was going on. The editors of the Sierra Club's RAW newsletter thus had no shortage of candidates for their annual poll about "2005's Top Environmental Event."Cast your vote now.
