Quote of the Week

"Don't get me wrong: I love nuclear energy! It's just that I prefer fusion to fission. And it just so happens that there's an enormous fusion reactor safely banked a few million miles from us. It delivers more than we could ever use in just about 8 minutes. And it's wireless!"

- Leading ecological thinker, architect and Cradle-to-Cradle author William McDonough

Off topic here but... The Sierra Club homepage says that the arctic is yet again under attack and that to help I can donate money to the Sierra Club. That's all fine and dandy but what else can I do? And futhermore, what is the Sierra Club doing with the money that is donated? Are you working with other organizations on this issue?
I just find it disheartening when NGO as for money to solve a problem without additional information about how I can help as often times I don't have money to give but would still like to help.

There's a lot you can do - go to http://www.sierraclub.org/arctic/ to find out how you can get involved with the Sierra Club's online campaigns to protect the Arctic Refuge. You can sign our online petition, contact your congressional representative, and more.
