Personally, I don’t know what all the shouting is about. Global warming is great. Granted, maybe it isn’t really happening, and if it is there are strong reasons to doubt that humans have anything to do with it. But if the world is warming, I say "bravo." People in most parts of the globe should have no objection to a warmer, wetter climate. If the aliens were watching they’d conclude we were making our planet more habitable on purpose.So, you're thinking 'parody,' right? Something from the Onion perhaps?

Eh, nothing remarkable here. James S. Robbins feels that his "side" is losing, so he's spinning "positives" of global warming. People will believe anything you say so long as you pick your evidence carefully and say it with a straight face.
exactly right, this is desperation talking. Just look at the way he talks about it:
It's not happening, but if it is, we probably don't have anything to do with it. But if we do, it's probably not a bad thing. In fact, it's probably a good thing. If it's really happening, which it's probably not.
