The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea

This is what a 7-meter rise in sea level looks like at Fisherman's Wharf
The Sierra Club and the San Francisco Department of the Environment have teamed up to launch a collaborative art project called Future Sea Level. Using blue tape to mark the high water mark anticipated if the Greenland and West Antarctic ice sheets melt, the project is meant to bring home the very real risks we run by leaving global heating unchecked.

Nice idea. What are the plans for taking it elsewhere? Also, what do rising sea levels say about the long-term viability of a rebuilt New Orleans and the bayous of Louisiana? In attemptimg to revive the Big Easy, are we simply shoveling shit against the tide?
