The World According to Ann

"We believe in populating the Earth until there’s standing room only and then colonizing Mars; they believe humans are in the twilight of their existence."
That's Ms. Ann Coulter, ladies and gentlemen, from her bestselling screed, Godless. In the excerpt from which the quote above is taken, the Blonde Crusader is expounding on the differences between the God-fearing (Allah excluded) conservatives she claims to speak for and all the Darwin-loving pagan environmentalist liberals who hold devilish sway over American culture. You know: the liberal media, the activist judges, the climate alarmists, Jon Stewart.

Now, I know Ms. Coulter specializes in the kind of half-cocked rhetoric that is designed specifically to provoke outrage, so I'm not going to give in to the impulse. I just want to ask whether any of you out there know anyone -- liberal or conservative, heathen or believer -- who truly believes "in populating the Earth until there's standing room only"? If you do, perhaps we could arrange to send them to Mars ahead of schedule.

Her words are not to be taken literally, what she is referring to is the promotion of life versus the destruction of life. Godless is a reference to the Anti-Christian Establishment Liberals (i.e. the people that hold Al Franken's words higher than Bible scripture). Not to say all Liberals are Godless, it's that the "heathens" have the loudest voice in the Democrat Party.

Gabriel, I second that question.

Although, I have to admit I love Ann Coulter from the deepest depths of my soul. I do have to question her motivation for writing such unworthy reading material. Yes, she does get to see her name in print which must be very satisfying but the message she sends with such titles and arguments does not promote the advancement of humanity. To play the conquer and divide card has gotten us where we are today, in two wars with the possibility of the third growing liklier by the day. I understand that there are fundamental differences between being a republican and democrat or a liberal and a conservative but have we come so far as to have throw mud in the face of everyone with whom we disagree. Republicans, democrats, conservatives and liberals, share the same work places, schools, our children play together everyday, we even share the same Churches (believe it our not) without such agruments about who is fundamentally correct. Why can this not happen at the highest levels of government? When will our elected officals (I cannot call them leaders because a true leader brings people together for a common cause, ie humanity) sit and have a real debate about what is best for all Americans, people, and the earth?

For Ann Coulter to call an entire party Godless for the shear advancement of what she believes is right, is way off base and only further separates America. There should be a asterik next to her name on any publication she sends out which says "For entertainment purposes only".

My answer to that question, is "Yes!" What else could be the reason for having 8 children in this day and age? Many fundamentalist Christians believe the best way to spread their religion is to (over-) populate the world with their own kind.

Do you actually *know* them? Or is this just what you imagine they think, when in fact, they may just like having a large family? I think what Pat means is that no one literally believes what Coulter is sayin. Not even Coulter.

Yes, I do know people who think this. They have taken from the bible, 'go forth and multiply' literally instead of meaning go forth and spread the message.
