Dividing Lines

The question, posed by The National Journal, is: Do you think it’s been proven beyond a reasonable doubt that the Earth is warming because of man-made problems? The query was directed at 113 members of Congress — 10 Senate Democrats, 48 House Democrats, 10 Senate Republicans, and 45 House Republicans.

The results are invalid, the Democratic sampling pool is approximately 33% larger than the Republican pool. Any decent pollster would tell you these results would be skewed and invalid as a result. I wonder if Dingell and Obama were the 2 Dems who voted no.

Well of course it obvious, it's just a shame that we overlook things like a skewered sampling size to push our point... it opens us up to criticism questioning the validity of such things..
