Just for the Record

"The appropriate debate isn't on whether climate is changing, but rather should be on what we should be doing about it. ... Climate is changing. It's a serious issue. The evidence is there. ...there is no question that human activity is the source of carbon dioxide emissions."
- Kenneth Cohen, vice president of public affairs, Exxon Mobil.

What do Al Gore and Exxon have in common ??? They say one thing but their personal past actions reflect the opposite... at least Gore is giving away some of that Big Oil money his family has as part of the $25M reward he announced on Friday

What Al Gore and Exxon have in common as of this moment is that they're both on the record in saying human-caused global warming is real. That part of the debate really is, for all practical purposes, over and done with. Here's hoping we can finally move on.
