Our Planet (OP)

It's Day 3 at GC-24/GMEF, which in case you didn't know, is UN newspeak for the 24th session of the Governing Council of the Global Ministerial Environment Forum. You know, them. The meeting is taking place in Nairobi, Kenya, and the theme is Globalization and the Environment. Try as I might I couldn't find anything very meaningful or even coherent at the GC-24/GMEF website, except for the latest edition of The Planet, the official magazine of the United Nations Environment Programme, which leads off with an essay by the Nobel-winning economist Joseph Stiglitz.
