Oscar Reversal
Somehow I missed this news: It seems the Supreme Court stripped Al Gore of his Oscar and awarded it to President Bush instead. Newsweek reports that the high court felt Bush was more deserving of the honor: 
"It is true that Al Gore has done a lot of talking about global warming," wrote Justice Antonin Scalia, writing for the majority. "But President Bush has actually helped create global warming."

Ha ha ha ha - I think the quote says it all.... I had to read it twice. I'm still laughing...may not be what he meant to say but it sure hits the target
That's a real gem of a quote.
I still maintain that GW is just trying to do his fine best to make the country more manageable and more cohesive by making the distance between the Pacific and Atlantic coasts shorter. We'll all eventually be united, somewhere in the Midwest.
