Disagree w/ u on the coal story at least partly, investors did and continue to flock to coal co. stocks. If you invested in Peabody Wnergy you made over 60% this year - maybe that will reverse next year but analysts have been rating the companies buy and hold lately.
Of course, solar stocks have skyrocketed this year as well.
I checked the Peabody stock charts. You're right. Massey's up too. As you say, perhaps this will reverse next year as (hopefully) carbon constraints begin to come into play and actually impact the sector. ... Thanks for keeping us honest.
