Our Vision for the Corridor:
We want to see both the protection and the sustainable development of the Corridor. We want to see the Corridor as an engine for the local economy of the surrounding towns of Luquillo and Fajardo.

We hope to see the Northeast Ecological Corridor part of an Ecotouristic region that would be known as La Porta de la Naturaleza.  Leaving from San Juan the typical Eco-Tourist could visit Puerto Rico's largest mangrove forest, the country's only Tropical Rainforest, one of the most important turtle nesting sites in the country, not to mention the picturesque towns, delicious restaurants and lively music.  Check out our Eco-Tourist's guide to Northeastern Puerto Rico.
