Green
Shoes Project
Bonnie Gisel promotes the Green Shoes Project at LeConte Memorial Lodge.
The Green Shoes Project was established to encourage visitors to,
in each step, walk as if wearing Green Shoes. Each step taken will be a reminder
to care for the Natural World and be a Steward of Wilderness.
Our message is simple:
We hope that each of our 17,000 visitors, who stop
by to meet us each season, from May 1 through September 30, will develop
a deeper abiding relationship with the Natural World.
Come visit LeConte Memorial Lodge if you woud like to become part of the Green
Shoes Project!
Living
and Working in Yosemite with Green Shoes was a featured Sierra Club Story
