I forget myself
My days are chaotic
My work is difficult and demanding
The deadlines are pressing
It is overwhelming.
So overwhelming
I forget
It's only when I'm in the wilderness
That I remember who I am

"When I was a boy in Dunbar, I was fond of everything
that was wild." Sadly, Scotland lost John Muir and his
message & has only recently reawakened to both. Now,
we also have national parks and a willingness to
protect our environment but so much has been lost.
