Stopping Logging Through the Boundary Waters Wilderness

In Minnesota, the Big Grass logging project would clearcut nearly 1,500 acres of forest near one of our national treasures. The logging proposal would clearcut a corridor of unprotected forest that separates two large portions of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness in northern Minnesota. The corridor serves as a major scenic entry to the wilderness area, and logging would threaten harm to a number of sensitive and federally listed species, including the Canada lynx, bald eagle, boreal owl, and goshawk.
