An Analysis of the Benefits of Farm-Scale Anaerobic Digesters in the United States
Anaerobic digestion is a method of manure processing during which methane-producing bacteria break down animal waste. In recent years, this technology has been touted as an environmentally friendly solution for waste management at Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations (CAFOs).
