This fall, Congress can make real progress putting America on the path to energy independence, constructing a clean energy future, and cutting global-warming gases.

All the pieces are there. Congress just needs to flip the switch and pass energy bills that raise fuel-economy standards to 35 miles per gallon and that implement a renewable-electricity standard.
