Beyond Coal to Clean Energy: Global Movement

There is no way around it: Coal kills. That's why there is movement growing across the globe as activists band together to oppose dangerous coal projects in their communities. The Sierra Club supports these efforts by connecting grassroots groups with resources, providing expertise and training, conducting research, pressuring financial institutions, and helping raise the voices of affected people and activists as they stand against multi-national corporations to demand a say in what happens to their air, their land, and their water.
