150th Anniversary Year John Muir Medallion

This medallion was produced to recognize the 150th anniversary year of John Muir's birth, in 1988. The obverse side includes a bas-relief of Muir with a legend that reads, "John Muir, 1838-1914, Climb the Mountains and Get Their Good Tidings." The reverse side includes an image of the Muir House in Martinez, with a legend that reads, "John Muir National Historic Site, Martinez, California."
