Ricardus M. El-Haber

• Founder in Lebanon of Friends of Nature on December 6, 1972, at the American University of Beirut.

• Ricardus M. Haber, in 1972 was a Junior of Biology and according to the Friends of Nature, was a fervent admirer of John Muir and his thought.

• Today, Dr. El-Haber is on the faculty of American University and is a leader in the Friends of Nature organization in Lebanon.
