Which exotic species costs the United States the most money each year to control?

Red fire ants

Zebra mussels, which clog pipes and coat the hulls of ships, are the hands-down winners, costing $3 billion a year for cleaning and control. Red fire ants cost about $200 million each year to control and the United States Forest Service spends about $11 million each year controlling the leaf-eating gypsy moth.
