A bill to designate certain public lands in Humbolt, Del Norte, Mendocino, Lake, Napa and Yolo Counties in the State of California as wilderness, to designate certain segments of the Black Butte River in Mendocino County, CA, as a wild or scenic river and for other purposes. The bill would protect the King’s Range coastal mountains, the largest stretch of American coast outside of Alaska. This bill is identical to S 2432.
Status
Passed the House in July 2006.
