Wind your way up the Missouri River, across the Great Plains, over the Northern Rockies and along the Columbia River with "Wild America: Protecting the Lands Explored by Lewis and Clark," a film that examines the diverse landscapes traveled by the explorers. The film looks through the eyes of Native Americans, backcountry outfitters, a rancher, an angler, a local family and conservation volunteers who are working hard in their communities to leave a priceless piece of natural heritage for the explorers of tomorrow. Narrated by Oscar Award-winning actress Sissy Spacek, the film probes the environmental problems that face the region, and makes a strong case for protecting these lands.
