Plan a Party
Hosting a house party is fun, easy -- and important. The Live Earth concerts are not only about great music, but also about a call to action on global warming. Scientists say that to stabilize global warming, we need to curb our carbon emissions 80% by the year 2050--or 2% a year, starting now. The Live Earth event will help spread that message and the need for our leaders to take action.
Our house party toolkit provides you with downloadable postcards that your guests should address to a local decision-maker and sign. You can then mail or hand-deliver the postcards and help make a difference in efforts to curb carbon emissions. The kit also provides you with a step-by-step guide on how to organize your party, a to-do list timeline, a sign-in sheet to collect the names of your guests, informational materials, and ideas for working with the media.
Please register your house party on the Live Earth website. To help you through the process of Registering, Searching for a House Party, and Hosting a House Party, please review our guides below. We have quick and easy instructions to guide you through the Live Earth website as well as screen shots to help you navigate.
