Members are Sierra Club members who generally are over 50 and single, but membership is open to all who are interested in furthering conservation activities as well as participating in weekend hikes, cycling, backpacking car camping trips, snow activities and other events.

A prerequisite of membership in Singleaires is membership of the Sierra Club. Proof of Sierra Club membership can be your address label from the SIERRA magazine, or a photocopy of your membership card showing the 8-digit member number and expiration date.

Once you are a member of the Sierra Club, you can join the Singleaires by filling out the application form (see below). You will be notified by mail when your membership application is accepted. The Singleaires reserves the right to reject any membership application with or without cause, with a full refund of your application money.
