1. Sample Fine Print

For use in publicity about your outings, whether in newspaper, email. Err on the side of giving too much information, rather than too little.

Fine print: These outings are appropriate for people of all ages including children. Non-members welcome; sorry no dogs. Bring a friend! Free! 2. Screening by Phone or Email

*** TELL or REMIND ABOUT LIABILITY WAIVER ***

• Trail conditions: treacherous, snowy, icy, wet, muddy, etc.
• What to wear: no jeans or dress boots; sturdy shoes; layers if winter weather;
• Special equipment/skills if required: (snowshoes, water shoes, flashlight if dark)
• If water outing: can they swim?
