The Eastern Missouri Group of the Sierra Club will sponsor Pioneer Trail Days on April 16-17, 2005, in cooperation with the Pioneer Forest, the Ozark Trail Association and DNR. This event is to encourage volunteers to support trail construction and use of the trails in the Pioneer Forest.

Everyone is invited to help or just to come out and walk the OzarkTrail, the Laxton Hollow Trail or the Brushy Creek Trail. Primitive campsites will be available. Parking and campsites are limited so carpooling is encouraged.
