The April General Meeting (4/28) will see the return of the Outings Committee's Annual Swap Meet in conjunction with two 30-minute presentations. One by Bob Gestel and Paul Stupperich on the Brushy Creek Trail, then one by Dan Drees, Wildlife Biologist, MDC, Eminence, on the Current River Natural Area, Missouri's first Natural Area, designated by the Society of American Foresters in 1955. This area celebrates its 50th Anniversary in April and we have a celebratory walk through the woods planned for Sat,4/30. The area is renowned for it's virgin old-growth white oak forest.
