Arkansas - Arkansas Oil and Gas Commission
Summary
In December 2010, the Commission finalized the rule with some changes regarding disclosure of fracking fluid makeup, citing trade secret concerns. Sierra Club and the League of Women Voters of Arkansas submitted a letter in response. The letter is uploaded below. History: Rule B-19 - Guidelines on Well Casings for Fracking. The Arkansas Oil and Gas Commission opened a period for public comments on this rule, driven in part by a recent spate of swarm earthquakes near a fracking site. Public hearings were held at AOGC's El Dorado office on October 20, 2010 at 1:00p.m. and at AOGC's Fort Smith office on October 25, 2010 at 1:00 p.m.
