The Nebraska Sierra Club maintains separate funds. We must pay expenses from the appropriate fund.

501(c4) – Advocacy & Lobbying - NON-TAX DEDUCTIBLE DONATION
To fund citizen based advocacy and lobbying efforts.  Actions like our opposition to the XL-pipeline, or coal-powered electrical plants are funded with this account.

501(c3) – Educational Expenses – TAX DEDUCTIBLE DONATION
These funds are restricted to educational expenses - for activities like: workshops, panels, discussion groups,  newsletters articles – with the topic restricted to conservation without advocacy.
