LIVE FOR LIFE, Duke’s comprehensive employee wellness program, is requesting volunteers for an upcoming event at the Duke Farmers’ Market.  We will be celebrating Duke’s Tobacco Free Anniversary at the Farmers’ Market on July 10th to commemorate 8 years that Duke has implemented its current tobacco-use policy restricting smoking on campus.  We plan to host a table at the Duke Farmers Market with information on e-cigarette use, cessation resources and education, as well as a jar of cigarette butts collected from various Duke Campus locations.  Market-goers will have the chance to guess how many butts are in the jar, and the winner will receive a prize.  The mission is to beautify Duke’s campus and also make it known that the battle against tobacco use is still ongoing, but that there are many resources to help!
