Important Winter Weekend and Holiday Period Reservation Considerations
* There is a two-night minimum for all winter weekend reservations.
* There is no child rate available for youth groups (scout
troops, schools, religious organizations etc.) on winter weekends and
holiday periods. The Sierra Club member rate for adults is extended
to every member of the party regardless of age.
* Infants and toddlers are welcome at the Lodge. However, on
busy weekends and holidays parents are asked to strongly consider if
a visit, with young children, during these times is appropriate. Due
to the layout of the sleeping accommodations young children who may
experience restless nights could impact many other guests. If you have
any questions about visiting the Lodge with infants and toddlers, please
call the Lodge to speak with the staff.
*Holiday Periods and Nights include: December 24, 2012 through January
1, 2013, and and January 15, 2013 and February 17, 2013.

Young Adult Group Rate Policy: For youth groups whose age range
is 14 – 17 year old, a discounted rate of $45/person is available for
groups or 20 or more people except during winter weekends and holiday periods.
Group guidelines require a minimum of one chaperone per every 7 youth and that
chaperones are responsible for ensuring that youth follow safety rules, quiet
hours, and complete chores. To find out if you group is eligible for these special
rates please call 800-679-6775.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made more than 30 days
before the arrival date will not be charged a cancellation fee. If reservations
are made less than 30 days before the arrival date a 24-hour grace period, from
the time the reservation was made, will be given to make a cancellation without
penalty. All other cancellations will be subject to the following policy:
• 7 or more days before arrival date = 10%
• 2 to 6 days before arrival date = 25%
• 1 day before arrival date = 50%
• Cancellation on arrival date = 100%
Note: Changing the dates of an existing reservation constitutes a cancellation
of the dates in question. The only exception to the above policy is in the event
of an official road closure by the State Department of Transportation due to
weather (call CAL TRANS at 1-800-427-ROAD), in which case no cancellation fees
apply.
Linen and Bedding Rental Service
|
While all guests are encouraged to bring their own bedding to Clair
Tappaan Lodge a Linen/Bedding Rental Service is now available.
The Linen/Bedding Package costs $5/set. The linen/bedding package
includes 2 Fleece Blankets, 1 Sheet, 1 Pillow Case, 1 Bath Towel,
and 1 Hand Towel.
Reservations for this service are recommended as supplies are limited
and should be made at the time of the bunk reservation.

Meeting Rates
Day Rates for Holding your Meeting at Clair Tappaan

Available for any group (capacity 80) to hold a meeting or event between
the hours of 9:30 - 4:30 (seven days a week).
