More than thirty years of U.S. support for family planning programs have made a tremendous contribution to slowing global population growth and environmental degradation. However, U.S. funding for international family planning has declined significantly since 1995, a landmark year for funding. Throughout the upcoming legislative session, there will be key opportunities to demonstrate support for family planning programs in the U.S. and around the world. Take action! Let your Member of Congress know you want to see an increase in funding international family planning.
