Bush Administration Goes Back on Its Word

Earlier this Summer, the Bush administration announced that the Federal Drug Administration (FDA) would decide whether or not to make Emergency Contraception (EC) available over-the-counter by September 1st. On Friday, August 26th, the administration went back on its word and said that it would delay the decision indefinitely.

Take Action! This announcement provides us with yet another opportunity to hold the Bush administration accountable for decisions that affect the lives of women across the country. Let the FDA know that you want an answer and that EC should be made more accessible now!
