What's the Challenge?
We are at a pivotal moment for people and the planet. Today, the largest-ever generation of youth is coming of age. Get Involved!
The Population Justice Environmental Challenge is a nationwide campaign that aims to advance global reproductive health and sustainable development solutions. Through public education and outreach, coalition-building, and empowering youth leaders, we build grassroots support for universal access to voluntary family planning and comprehensive sexuality education, advancing sustainable development efforts that alleviate poverty and improve the status of women and girls, and reducing wasteful consumption in the context of social and economic equity.
Since we launched the PJE Challenge on International Women's Day March 8th 2009, we are collecting petition signatures in support of $1 billion for international family planning, access to comprehensive sex education and the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals. You can play a key role in our effort to build more support for these efforts and make sure President Obama and national decision-makers are hearing from us by getting involved with our campaign!
