The Northern Alameda County (NAC) Group considers urban environmental issues in the cities of Oakland, Berkeley, Albany, Emeryville, Alameda, Piedmont, and San Leandro. These issues can include housing, transportation, air quality, environmental justice, and natural-resource protection.
NAC's Conservation Committee meets at 6:30pm on the fourth Monday of every month at the Chapter Office (wheelchair-accessible), 2530 San Pablo Ave. in west Berkeley. For directions and bus information, see About the Bay Chapter. Minutes are posted here.
NAC's nine-member Executive Committee convenes at the same place once the Conservation Committee has adjourned (usually by 8:45 pm) to consider conservation actions, political endorsements, and recommendations to higher-level Club entities.
