It’s that time of year again; love is in the air, sweetening the usual airborne cocktail of car exhaust and nitrogen oxides. Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, so we at the Global Population and Environment Program would like to remind you to love your body and the environment. To help spread that love, we’ve ditched the chocolate hearts and plush bears and come up with a creative, fun, and educational list of gifts that contribute to the betterment of the planet for you to share with friends and family. Think of it as a token of our love for all of you. Enjoy, and Happy Valentine’s Day!

1. Watch our Global Population and Environment 101 video and then send it to five friends.

2. Test your world health and environment knowledge by taking our Pop Quiz.

3. Write a letter to the editor of your local newspaper about how women hold the solutions to climate change.

4. Watch films, read stories, and download infographics on women and climate justice from Women at the Center.

5. Learn and discuss how current events like Flint and Zika are impacting women.

6. Sign up for our PopNews e-newsletter and join the conversation.

7. Tell the U.S. State Department that stopping gender-based violence matters to you.

8. Rock a Sierra Club button or pass out a few of the Sierra Club's free condoms.

9. Lend your voice to a call for safer menstrual hygiene products.

10. Explore the world you're working to protect. Find a Sierra Club outing near you.
