My husband, David, and I are co-owners one of the few green businesses in Dallas-Ft. Worth, TX. The focus of our business is native plants for the purposes of conserving, preserving, restoring, and celebrating natural resources. David took this photo of me serving as keynote speaker at the City of Plano's Environmental Community Awards; my speech was about combining environmentalism and volunteerism to benefit the community.
