Solar Hot Water Panel on Roof

We thought the best first step to save electricity and reduce our carbon emissions was to get hot water from the sun. Even on cloudy days the water in our solar hot water heater is usually 30 degrees warmer than our well water. On sunny summer days it is 80 or more degrees hotter.
