Shallow Tidepools and a Rocky Shore

Who: Lisa
Where: Acadia National Park, Maine

Acadia National Park, Maine

Why: Unfazed by the bustle of nearby Bar Harbor, hermit crabs and starfish live in the shallow tidepools of Seawall in Acadia National Park. The only noise is the sound of waves crashing against the rocky shoreline.

Seabirds circle overhead, scanning the waves with their sharp eyes for food, while fish swim in the waters below. The tide goes in and out, washing up more treasures from the cold waters of the Atlantic Ocean.
